The Furniture Shack opened its first store on the 12th January 2002 at Beerburrum Rd Caboolture. The idea was generated from a university assignment completed by Shaun and Tim. The two students decided to turn their concept into reality and The Furniture Shack was born. Low start-up capital forced the boys to learn all tasks of running a retail enterprise from unloading containers right through to hand delivering the item to the customer’s home. It is this understanding and attention to detail that has enabled The Furniture Shack to evolve into one of Australia’s fast growing Outdoor physical and online retail leaders.
Since the opening of our first store, The Furniture Shack have opened a total of seven massive locations. These include the Helensvale, Maroochydore, Capalaba, Jindalee, Aspley, Logan and the Wakerley Clearance Outlet. We now employ over 40 fantastic staff!
Our business has had exponential growth in the last 5 years online, with customers Australia wide taking delivery of our premium outdoor products. Also, our trade division has expanded and taken on a wealth of projects in the resort, hospitality & real estate staging spaces.
